MY LARGE 3-WAY POWERED FRIGE IS RUSTED BEAYON (SPELLING?) REPAIR.NEW ONES ARE TOO RICH FOR MY BLOOD,& AND USED ONES I DON'T TRUST. WALMART & OTHER PLACES SELL SMALL (1 & 1.5 CU. FOOT) 12 VOLT ONLY COOLERS. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I SEE IS THAT ONLY COOL DOWN 40 DEGREES F. BELOW THE OUTSIDE TEMP. IF ITS 90 DEGREES THEY WILL DO 50 DEGREES (IT'S MIN. TEMP.) IF ITS 110 DEGREES THEY WILL DO 70 DEGREES!!! HAS ANYONE TAKEN THE POWER UNIT OFF OF ONE & MOUNTED IN A DIFFERENT COOLER?? AM THINKING OF PUTTING IT IN THE UPPER FREEZER COMPARTMENT OF MY BROKEN FRIGE, AND USEING THE BOTTOM FOR STORAGE??? THANKS

Re: 12 VOLT COOLER

Well, I suggest you just buy a small regular fridge and use it on 110. I don't like the 12 volt fridges.

Re: 12 VOLT COOLER

That's all the 12 volt unit iis, a cooler. Only good to keep something cool. Do as Archer said and get just a small 120 volt fridge.
