Re: 1988 pace arrow

The Pace Arrow was a pretty good RV back when yours was built, as it predates the time when Fleetwood took them over. But an RV that is now 22 years old could be junk even if it was the best made when new. There may be very little relation to the condition today as compared to what it was new. Keep in mind that any appliance that is still original is now far past its expected life and could fail at any time. Modern RV refrigerators usually do not last that long, although some did back then. Parts for one could also be difficult to find.

Water heater tanks do begin to leak at some point and the best fix is a new one. Furnaces also could be late in life as could all appliances. Check the DOT code on the tires to see what their age is as RV tires should be replaced at some point between 5 & 7 years, no matter how much tread they may have left. I would change all fluids and don't forget the brake fluid! Look very hard for indications of leaks and for signs of delamination on the outside skin.

The price should be very low and realize that you may not be able to get a lender to carry a loan on it as few will do so with one this age.
