If you go in the cabinets and find UVW....that is the empty weight of the trailer. Tounge weight is usually 10-15% of this weight.
You ask if a 1/2 ton will pull it....You need to tell us what 1/2 ton you have. A newer one with all the PROPER equipment can be rated to tow as much as 10,000 or a little higher. I would say the AVERAGE 1/2 ton you find on the dealers lot will not tow a 32' trailer safely.
