240V 30 amp breaker

I'm thinking of setting an outside receptacle for our fifth wheel. I would like to tie in to the existing dryer outlet, which is 240V with a 30 amp breaker. Can I do this? I will be using the 50 amp shore line with a 30 amp adapter to connect. Thanks.....

I was hoping you would read before you commenced. Seen and heard too many stories on forums of the resultant of not wiring correctly. Hope all comes out for you with plan B. Keep posting the folks on here are a frendly bunch.
