Reese Hitches are pretty good as far as I can tell. I've been using a Reese 18K hitch since 1995. I haven't had any problems with it. Some people claim they sometimes unlock and drop their 5er, but in most cases it's operator problems. Make sure the locking lever is in place and then padlock it in place. Jokesters may release the hitch if it isn't padlocked. Also the hitch should be slightly higher than the kingpin when you back into the hitch to connect.

They will show you about the lock, a Reese hitch is good, we sell mostly Reese.
