98 Four Winds Hurricane Ford 460 fan belt replacement

The smog air system has been circumvented on our new/used RV. it has a 1998 Ford 460. Does anyone know what fanbelt size I could use so I don't have to turn the air/smog compressor??? Since the system is not functioning I would like to help my MPG as much as possible and eliminating the compressor might help with this?? Thoughts??

The smog pumps used very little HP so as far as gas milage don't think you will see any difference. Run a string around all the pulleys and then measure. Wont be accurate but will give you a good starting point

Had to figure out a couple of belt sizes on one of mine also...the string method works great, when you purchase the belt, get one size larger and one size smaller at the same time...you can always take the incorrect ones back
