Atwood Stove Igniter

My 2008 Atwood Stove Igniter will not light one of my burners. The other two light just fine, but one I have to use a flame to light it. After it is lit, I can shut if off and I can immediately light it using the igniter. Don't understand why? I can see the spark the second time (after it is lit) but not the initial try(s).
Any idea what would cause this and what I can do to fix it?

Re: Atwood Stove Igniter

Kenneth, tks. It worked just fine last winter and only started doing this after we got back down here for this winter. I'll check the connections closely but since it has not been on the road I can't see that the connections would have gotten loose and I can see the spark tube right by the gas port on the burner and when I turn on the gas, and try to start it will click but no spark and then after I lite it, I can turn it off and immediately restart it from spark not aux flame. Ghost again I guess, ha ha Tks again,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Mike,
As far as the connections, check for corrosion. Sometimes things like this drive you nuts.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too. Thanks
