Has anyone traveled to see Aurora aka Northern Lights. If so, where did you go and was it worth it. My husband and I want to see it and wanted to know the best place since we will be coming from south alabama.

Of course the best place to see the Northern Lights is Alaska. However that is a long trip. The further north you go the better. Try Alberta Canada or Northern Quebec.
Of course winter is the best time because of more night time hours but it sure gets cold up there.

WE have seen them in Norther Minnesota (Sep), and in Ontario north of Montreal(Aug). further North you go the better they are.
