awning pull down strap?

Hey people, Any help would be greatly appreciated with my m/h awning. The loop in the middle of the pull down strap( if that's what it's called), where you pull down with your rod has apparantly rotted out. Last time I had to get a ladder to manually pull my awning down. Can you buy those or how do I go about repairing one? Any help would be helpful.

Yes, you can buy replacement straps at your dealer. You should know wether you have a Carefree or Dometic (A&E) awning.

On my A&E awning I replaced it. Just slides out of the groove. REal easy to replace and part is pretty cheap.

Like Archer says, it just slides in the roller tube from the end at the back of the trailer.

I bought a replacement at CW, and you might be able to get it at Wally World also.
