What is the best 5th wheel to a goosneck hitch. I have a short bed also don't know if that needs to be addressed or not.
Thank you

Why do you want to do such a thing? Your trailers frame is designed to be towed from the kingpin height, not 12 or 14 inches below that. It DOES make a difference.

Yes, the short bed truck is another problem to address. You need a slider 5th wheel hitch to create more clearance.

There are hitches I've seen that conect to the king pin. I have seen off set hitches for the 5th wheel to gooseneck. Don't want to cluter up my bed, seemed like a good idea to go this way. Was looking at the rancher and the cody hitches.

If your 5th is new better check warranty by adding the goose neck extension. Like Ken says you WILL be putting a lot more stress on the king pin area and the bed frame area of the 5ver that will cause failure. It's like adding an extension to a breaker bar. Just not built for it. Go to a good slider hitch, my sons works great.
