A great place to visit when in the Phoenix area is this arboretum. It is located on US60, just about an hour east of the city or 1/2 hour east of Apache Junction. We spent three great months there as resident volunteers and consider it one of the most unique gardens we have ever seen. If you go there, or if you have visited it in the past, the Arizona Parks have a customer survey that they would really appreciate it if you would take the time to fill out for them.
