BUY or NOT TO BUY

Looking to buy my first class a pusher. 1990 Fortravel, Grand Villa, 70K miles. Everything seems to work ok. Engine is strong and transmission shifts good. My question, the owner wants 15K for it. I think it is a pretty good buy, but I just dont know. Any advise? I could use it from seasoned RVer.
Thanks,
Papa Ray

Re: BUY or NOT TO BUY

Hi Cullen and welcome to the RVUSA Forum. I typed NADA RV blue book values in Google and it listed all the Foretravel RV's. You can do this and specify type, options, etc and it will give you the suggested list price, low retail price and average retail price. I wouldn't pay more than the low retail price unless you really want this particular RV, Just my opinion :) :)

Well I will tell you what I tell everyone else. Do an engine and transmission oil analysis!!!! Cost is between 30 to 40 dollars total. Get the blood test done. May save you another $15,000.00 ;) What engine does she have?

Yes, welcome to RVUSA. Lets us know what happens. :approve:
