Chevy 8.1 L engine dip stick

I have a 2001 Winn. Brave with a Chevy 8.1 L engine … the dip stick is about 3 ft long (and flexible) … it is quite easy to remove but very difficult to replace … does anyone have ideas (tricks) on making it easier to use?

hello Jim and welcome to the forum. I also have a 8.1 Chevy, and yes the dip stick is long. I don't have a problem removing or re installing. I do, or it does seems to twist to the left as it is going in. BUT ALL IN ALL I do not have a problem :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
