    I HAVE A DUO-THERM FURNACE MODEL 25R. I NEED A FAN SWITCH FOR IT.
IHAVE TRYED ABOUT EVERY THING I KNOW OF. THIS IS APPROXIMATELY
1969 AND IS IN A SMALL SHASTA TRAILOR. I HAVE REBUILT THE
FURNACE ALL EXCEPT THE THERMAL THAT TURNS THE FAN ON.
    THANK YOU

    Melvin,

Does your unit look like this? This one is out of a 76 prowler. I didn't need to replace the limit, fan or sail switches but I believe the one I circled is the fan switch. Are you having an issue with it's operation or do you just want to replace everything as you rebuild?

I wonder if you will ever find a new part for a furnace that old. What I would do is to remove the old one and then try and locate one that can be made to fit. You refer to it as a "thermal?" Does that mean that it is a thermostat type of fan switch? If so, you will need to know what temperature it should close. I don't have access to any manuals that go back that far.

    STEVE P. AND KIRK.
THANKS FOR THE REPLY. I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THE PICTURE YOU
SENT STEVE.YOU CAN E-MAIL ME IF YOU WOULD. KIRK, I HAVE BEEN
TO MY LOCAL RV DEALER AND HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT TO CALL THE DISK
OR WHAT THE VALUE IS.I THINK I AM IN MORE TROUBLE ANYWAY, IT
HAS A GAS VALVE/THERMOSTAT AND PILOT ALL IN ONE UNIT AND I THINK
THE THEERMOSTAT IS GOING BAD. ABOUT THE FAN SWITCH/THERMAL DISK,
ALL I DOES IS TURN A SMALL BLOWER ON AT A CERTAIN DEGREES AND THEN
OFF ON COOL DOWN. RIGHT NOW I PUT A 130 DEGREE WITH A 15 DEGREE
    COOL OFF.
    MY E-MAIL IS MAADETTY@CORLINK.COM
