Electric hot water heater

I am thinking of installing a 2.5 to 4 gallon electric tank (not tankless) hot water heater just under our only sink in the TT for washing hands and face, only. Eemax have both the EMT2.5 and EMT4......12 amps / 1400 watts / 120 volts A.C. Additional manufacturers are Stiebel-Eltron, Rheem, In-Sink-Erator, Ariston and others. Has anyone else chose this relatively inexpensive route to hot water? Example......the Eemax EMT2.5 normally is found for $169.00 + shipping.

Re: Electric hot water heater

The warehouse/office I have rented has a 6-gallon 110v water heater in it.
It is made by Artison. Model GL 4 Ti.
It is fairly small, can be floor on wall mounted, plugs into a regular outlet and can be connected with flexible piping.
Think it runs around $180.00

An alternative is to go to tankless propane.
Found this one the other day.

Looks like good flow rate and recovery rate.

Re: Electric hot water heater

Thanks, Cougar for the info. I checked out the EZ Tankless per your link. It's worthwhile considering a gas-fed tankless. Thanks, again.
