ok .. ive kinda hit on this subject before but .. wasnt satisfied with the responses .. i have a tacoma double cab and a jayco x17z and i want to take my "atv" with me .. i know the truck will take the load .. however, i have to have the tailgate down during transport. (airbags installed on rear suspension). my problem is the jack .. the rv tougue jack. ... battery behind that and then propane tank .. with the tailgate down it's not even close to hitting the battery... the jack has got to move! can i mount an electric jack on the side near the propane tank? on the frame? bout a 2X4 " steel frame? i would like to take both .. i know the truck can do it .. got a jack in the way! personnally .. id perfer an electric jack .. (spoiled and lazy lol) .. thanks for your advice!

I don't know about you, but I can always find a "good" reason to buy a new truck.:D:D Have you thought about buying/building a ramp to get the front wheels of the atv up on the truck cab roof? Or can the atv go in the truck bed sideways? Or, if the tongue weight isn't too much, get an extension for your hitch.:):)

I hope you know the back of most toy haulers have a heavy duty rubber floor cover. This would protect it from mud, dirt and sand.. with it I reccomend keeping your truck and get a toyhauler. I do think you will happier
