electric step stuck out ???

the step on my 93 fleetwood coronado is stuck out anyone know howto fix it, a fuse or ?? can you lift them in manually ?

when the step is out there should be a cotter pin or simular to release the step from the motor, this will get u moving to drive it

oh yea stap up the step so u dont rip it off

there should be a fuse in the fuse panel, check all fuse panels mine was under the hood drivers side

check for voltage at the motor when someone hits the door button in the jam with a meter if ya see voltage ie 12v then most likely motor is bad or just really gummed up try cleaning it rip it apart and give it a whirl might save a a couple of bucks and lube the steps while ur at it will improve operation

i had a friend's motorhome here, same problem. I fixed it with a hammer, one good rap and aok... Hope this will elp you...Metalman...

Think the mechanics secret tool and repair is getting out "THE HAMMER" :laugh: :laugh:

A hammer is the secret tool for my jeeps also. :laugh:
