I'm new to trailing and while disconnecting my 5th wheel I forgot to disconnect the emergency brake line. While pulling away from the trailer the pin pulled out of the 5th wheel trailer. I disconnected from the truck and plugged back into the trailer. Is this all I have to do?

Yes, and when you hook up and leave it's a good idea to check it. When all hooked up, pull the plug loose, have the legs raised about a inch or two and put the truck in gear and ease forward. The brakes should lock on the trailer. If not you need to have it replaced. Found mine wasn't working one time checking.
