[RonS] Nice title, makes people open. Anyway -- does your 4x4 have a lever on the floor to shift 4 wheel to netural?? Most have 2 High, netural, 4 High, and 4 Low. If so, put this differental into netural and can be towed. Many companies like roadmaster can also sell kits so just about anything can be towed 4 down. But I would rather purchase something that is ready to go without modifications. The Vehicle dealers are not of much help, my guess is that they are afraid that if something goes wrong, they will be blamed. I had the same questions on my Ford Ranger, but mine had the 4x4 control on the dash, and no neutral position. Took me 2 months to find out it could be towed, without any kits or modifications. Happy Towing Ron
