First time buyer diesel pusher

We are getting ready to take the plunge. My question is with mileage all over the board on a used diesel pusher, how many miles is too many? We looked at a nice coach, 2002, 43 foot with a tag axle and a 500 hp cummins with 80,000 miles, I do not want to get into expensive mechanical work and just wondered what is to be expected and how many miles do these engines go. It has an allison 6 speed transmission also. i will be towing a horse trailer with whatever I buy. Thanks for the help.

80K is like new, as long as it has had scheduled service. The Cummins product is at a least a 200K motor b4 any "top-end" work is needed. These motors are used commercially upwards of 400K.
