My son and I are talking about going to the Texas gulf for some beach fishing,, Port O'conner or further down the coast, can some one tell me the best RV site in that area

There are some beautiful RV parks in Rock Port and on Fulton Beach. Do a little research on rvparkreviews.com. I have not stayed in any of those but have been in and around south Texas and south east Texas all my life. Corpus Christi is a great place also. Hope you have a great time fishing. Port Lavaca has a state park right on the beach with a beautiful rv park and a lighted fishing pier that used to be the causeway. Let us know how it goes. :)

It's further up the coast, but Matagorda has an RV park right at the beach. Has a pier for the surf. And a couple of smaller ones in the river. And miles of beach to surf fish. (4x4 needed past 3 mile cut) Plus a lot of people fish intercoastal at the harbor. Nothing else to do there. So Carols suggestion may be the better choice if the fishing gets bad. :)
