This is a very nice campground on the Oregon coast. it is just south of Astoria. it used to be a military post on the columbia river and was the only place to be fired upon in the continental united states. the japanese slipped a sub up in there and fired upon ft stevens, the fort has tours that are pretty cool and there is a lake there and all the hookups. it is 25 dollars a night and the sites are nice and easy to access. open all year long and full most of the time. call ahead for reservations or to check status of occupancy. my wife and i stayed there in september and it was a memorable trip.
    happy camping

We volunteered there several years ago and would agree with your review. We spent July & August there and really enjoyed our stay.
