Generator Question

Have inherited a Roadtrek Popular 170 and have it pretty much all figured out. Pardon my ignorance, but I don't know how to switch to generator power! Owner's man refers me to the gen manual which I don't have. Once the gen is running, what next?!?! Thanks.

RE: Generator Question

Bruce welcome to the forum. Find your electrical shore cable and you should also see an outlet in the same compartment that it needs to be plugged into in order to complete the switch from shore power to generator power. If that is already plugged in, then check the breakers on the generator.

Re: Generator Question

Thanks folks! I'd found the plug and figure if I just left it plugged in (versus unplugging and putting into a shore connection), things would switch over. So I either have to manually switch or check breakers. BTW Grandview - I'm a Hokie!! Know your neck of the woods VERY well!
