Hi, everyone. New here. Getting ready to full time a little with the family. I'm still working, and need High Speed Internet. Considering purchasing Ground Control's RV Satellite Internet/TV system.

Cost is about $5,400 installed. Supposedly, you can use it anywhere in the continental US where you can see the southern sky.

Anyone out there have one? How's the speed? The sales dept. always compares their upload and download speeds to dial up---which I have never had! I've always used a DSL connection or faster, so I can't compare.

Does it work? How much juice did you need to operate it? Did you need a solar panel for battery charging? Or did you need to run a generator because it drew too much power.

    Thanks, for your tips.
