Hauling 2 Canoes on 1 Travel Trailer

We have two canoes, one 14' and one 17', that we like to use when we go camping. I've just purchased a travel trailer and would like to be able to haul them when we go on trips (We have 4 kids so we need the extra canoe). Obviously we could put one on our SUV but I'm not sure what to do with the other one. I would like to haul both canoes on top of my travel trailer but I'm not sure how to do that or if it's safe. Any thoughts? The travel trailer is 34'.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I for one have not heard of hauling canoes on top of a 34' Travel Trailer.

One thing that worries me is you say you are towing that LARGE trailer with an SUV. When I hear SUV, I assume a small vehicle. I hope I am wrong and you have a Suburban or Excursion sized vehicle.

Guess by the time you add brackets and the canoes on top you would have to be extra careful about the height. I never was a fan of adding anything to the tops of rvs as they are prone to leaks anyway. What brand is the TT Hiker01 and welcome to the forum. Keep us posted.
