hitch jack

got a small problem...(hence why i'm here) i want to take my ATV and my camper (tt)together but my truck has a short bed ..5 ft. .. if i take my wheeler the tailgate has to be down. .. and its really close to the hand crank jack on the tt. any suggestions?

1. Put the front wheels of the 4wheeler on the pickup cab roof. :( :( :(

2. Buy a long bed pickup :eek: :eek: :eek:

3. Buy a toy hauler trailer :eek: :eek: :eek:

NO, the elec. jack would be in the same location. There are 3 bolts that hold the jack on, you could take it off, but your LP tanks would be next in line to get hit when you turn sharp.

You did not say what truck you have but there are ATV carriers that carry them sideways in the truck. Might be a wise investment, unless your in the market for a longer bed truck.

thx guys .. 2 other considerations i thought of .. if my jack was about 2" shorter it would work .. (i think) and the other option was a swing up jack .. truck is a toyota tacoma double cab and the tt is a jayco x17z .. only weighs 3000 lbs ..and airbags in rear susp. of truck. thx
