In Honor

Veterans Day (U.S.)—November 11
This federal holiday marks the World War I cease-fire in 1918. The U.S. Congress changed the name from Armistice Day to Veterans Day in 1954 to honor and celebrate all veterans who have served during peace or wartime.

Remembrance Day (Canada)—November 11
This day honors veterans who have died in service to their country (similar to Memorial Day in the United States).

======================================

You know who you are. At the time, you might not have thought of your service as an honor. We think of it that way now.

Thanks. Thank you very much.
