Installing an inverter

Hi. I just bought a 1500-watt power inverter for my rv. I'm not really understanding what do do. It came with two battery cables that are too short for the distance between the inside of the vehicle and the battery. Does anyone have a suggestion or can share your tricks to installing an inverter? I'd really appreciate it. :) :sleepy:

Being you didn't say what brand of inverter you have --- here is 3 diff. web sites that should answer all your questions.
