Internet Access

    new to RV world.... looking for info on best connection setup for internet access from a specfic spot (living in RV while we build). Dial up is to slow.
    Satellite service? Can you recommend a provider? cost estimate?

    Amy....I live out in the sticks of Colorado and before Qwest saved me I considered Directv as an alternative. If you have a dish you could consider the option. At the time Direct was WAY too proud of the hardware but maybe they have become more competitive since.

    I would check out dish internet. It is available from Starband and also from Direc Way. I prefer Starband because they have a supported program of customer/installers who are thus authorized to move the dish and use it mounted on a tripod, while Direc Way users do at times move thiers, but Direc Way does not authorize it. But if you do not plan to move yours, ever, then either one would work well.
