    Greetings,

OK, this may seem like a question with an obvious answer but I don't want to call the County without first knowing what the rules are.

Is it legal to live in your fifth wheel, while building a new house on the lot? How would I look up the answer for this? I live in an unicorporated area in Pierce County WA and can't seem to find any information online under zoning or special use permits.

Is there another way to look this up?

    Thank you.

You might be able to ask your builder. Sewer dump and water connection might be an issue (you will need both or have to take trailer to location for dumping). I have heard of many folks that do this while house is being constructed. Each town/etc., have their own basic building zoning laws so you may need to ask the County building commissioner what the rules/laws are. Don't know why you have to know the answer before calling them....unless :blackeye:

I really think the only way you are going to get a definitive answer is to talk to your county planner or zoning official.
