Membership Camping

We recently attended a free weekend at the Holiday Trails Campground in BC Canada. We decided to buy a resale membership. We asked our rep what the consequences where to us if we did not buy direct (and pay thousands more!) We were never advised of the biggie - if you attend a tour in the last 3 years, you have to pay a penalty to join with a resale! How can they do this? :question: Your experiences and suggestions would be appreciated.

With that attitude by HTC, I would say CYA and move on to somebody else. Does your camping style include staying mostly at the same campgrounds or do you like to move around? If it is the latter, why get entangled with one of these camping memberships? :laugh:
