[Gary B] Hi Effie, you haven&#039t giving enough information, (class a/claas c or b, Ford, Chev, Dodge etc.). The first place to check would be (you said we hit the button and nothing) I am taking it, that it&#039s electically controlled, do you have +12 VDC at the switch, if so the find the fuel switch valve, it will be located on the frame with any number of fuel lines coming and going, check for 12 volts at the valve, if you have voltage then it maybe a deffective valve assy. Good luck and happy trails GB

[Gary B] I would still try checking for DC voltage at the switch and at the valve assy. I was hoping you would say it was a Ford class C, have experince with them good luck and happy trails GB

[C Nash] Effie, I agree with Gary on checking voltage at the switch and valve. GM applies voltage to the switching valve for aux. tank and no voltage when running on the main tank. Good luck
