New and TV hookup

New Member
New to RV ing and to the forum. Want to throw a question out regarding the TV hookup. I have 2 coax cable outlets in my new Stampede 19 hybrid trailer. I raised my ant. tried both outlets and set the TV to air/cable and I'm getting nothing. I figured I would get few local channels but it is saying that there is no signal. What I'm I forgetting?

If you have 2 coax inlets in your trailer, one is wired for satellite. The other, of course, is wired for cable and the rooftop TV antenna. Raise the antenna, turn on your booster and try again to see if you can find a signal.

Depending on where you are, sometimes the antenna on the roof will not get much reception, even with a boost. Don't forget you have to turn the antenna on the roof the try and get the signal. ;)
