Onan Problems

I have a 1979 RV with an Onan generator that is ideling up and down and then eventually stalls out. The bottom of the carb and the area it mounts get very cold as it runs and has moisture. Any Ideas ?? :disapprove:

Tiger, I have learned that the best place to handle genny problems is a Cummins/Onan service center. They will do the best job at the most economical price and most centers have electric hookups if you need to overnite. Suggest you go on line and find the nearest one.

Onan Problems

I have an older ('86) Onam 6.5 which would do the same thing. Found out the screws holding down the lean/rich adjustment would vibrate loose. Tightened them up, no problems since.
