overheating inverter/charger

Hi all, got a 04 Itasca,meridian. my inverter/charger is located in small conpartment behind rear wheels. Other than keeping the door wide open, anyone got any ideas on cooling the thing down so the unit doesn't s shut down????? thanks all, travel safe................................d&p

Install small fan like the ones used to power vent the refrigerator to reduce heat. 12 volt and they are cheap, thing I don't know is how to turn it off and on as temperature rises and falls. Maybe a high temp thermostat like on the fantastic fans(when the temp gets high it turns on and as it cools it turns off).
