overland coach---fire hazard??

i am shopping for an early 90's model overland diesel motorhome 38ft. i recently heard that the overland had a reputation for electrical fires. does anyone in this forum have any knowledge pro or con about this or any info relative to the wisdom of selecting an overland diesel? any input will be appreciated. thanks, ed
