Protective Film

I have seen Class A's on the road with a white protective film on the front for temporary protection against road debris. (Same as auto shippers use, I guess...) Seems as if it would be a good idea for a trip we are planning to Alaska since we don't have a bra or the 3M film on our Tropi-Cal. Does anyone have information on manufacturer/supplier/distributor?

Many Thanks - John

The following has protective tape designed to protect your paint:

Venture Tape Corp.
(800) 343-1076

http://www.venturetape.com/final/index.htm

Venture Shield - Paint Protection Tape is a 6 mil (150 micron) non-yellowing urethane film coated with an aggressive removable acrylic adhesive system. This adhesive system is designed to remove without adhesive transfer to the applied surface and no damage to painted surfaces.

Good luck,
Jim

The web site changed somewhat since I was last there but the following URL will bring you to the VentureShield. Scroll down four products until you reach 7510 Product Details which is 6 mils thick that I have used on my motorcycle and 7512 / 7514 Product Details which is 12 mils thick that I'd use if I were going to Alaska.

I have no idea of the cost to cover the front of your Class A but give them a call at (800) 343-1076 and find out who sells it in your area. They are the manufacturer.
Good luck,
Jim
