Hello, hope everyone had a good summer, now that fall is upon us, I had a winterization question. I'm thinking about doing it myself this year my plan is to first drain the hot water tank (it doesn't have a by-pass) then run a length of hose from the fresh water pump into my antifreeze and run all the faucets, tub, toilet until I see anti-freeze, same with the 2 low point drains, then pour some in the sinks to fill the traps. one part I'm not sure about is the section of line where I currently hook up the water, will that piece fill up too? the hook up for that is in the rear and the fresh water tank is in the front.
