My trailer is parked where there is currently no electricity to test and I have been under the impression that the refrigerator ran on 12V and propane only. There are 3 positions on the dial. 12V, off and gas. I do not see where there is a setting for shore power. I am weighing the benefits of pulling in power and a full time refrigerator would be of great benefit. I currently disconnect propane and bring batteries home for recharging in between visits.

My guess..old. He said "dial" for his control. I would be willing to guess he does not have an elec. model.
