rock guard advice - skirt, solid or strips?

I'm interested in protecting my tow vehicle behind class C Tioga.

Any advice on:
1. solid splash guard - 1 solid piece, like a "Ultraguard Splash Guard"
2. splash guard skirt
3. strips of solid material, like a "Rock Solid Protective Guard"

See answer in Talkback. See you are new Tim so welcome. In the future just put your post in one forum heading. We read them all so one is enough. Opinions flow freely here :)

Hi,
I pull my Tracker behind my class C that has the fine strand stone guard and it works well except when you are on a wet road that has fine grit on it. Irregardless of what guard you have the draft created by the "C" pulls the fine grit up onto your dinghy.

I find that before running the windows down it is best to either wash the vehicle or open the windows a little bit--just enough that you can flush the grit off the window and from under the rubber window seal. Otherwise everytime you operate your windows you are going to cringe when you hear the grinding noises!!
