RV Alliance of America Insurance Ripoff???

We live in Texas, and on January 7, 2002, we were quoted a good price and better insurance coverage on our travel trailer by RV Alliance of America. Based on this information, we changed our trailer insurance from our long-time auto insurer to RV Alliance of America. Two weeks later, we received our policy indicating a cost a full one third more than was quoted. We have had no claims nor traffic violations to cause this. When we questioned RV Alliance of America about this astronomical increase, they said the State of Texas had raised the insurance rates ten days after we were quoted the lower cost. Can anyone out there who is insured in Texas shed any light on this?!?!?

FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS. . .seems RV Alliance of America misquoted my premium using pre-January 1st, 2002 figures. They are working with the underwriter to honor the quote ($207 per year instead of $325 per year).
