Satellite dish recommends

Looking for info and recommendations for buying a auto satellite dish, I just purchased a small toy hauler and will be traveling. This is new 1st time rv purchase and Iam green as a granny smith apple. Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

I bought the dome and found that there are places where I cannot get as good a satellite as you do with the open type automatic dish. I now carry a portable for the times and places when the dome does not pick up all the channels. They tell me its because the dome is a really small dish as compared to the open automatic dishes.

thanks for the info, I ordered my dish today. I found a great deal at www.allseasonsrv.com. Ask for Ted, he had the best price and was able to drop ship to me, it should arrive late next week which will work as our trailer only arrived today. I just hope that it is not too difficult to install
