I am new to rving, just bought my 5th wheel, can anyone tell me how hard it is to set up a portable directtv dish and aim it? I have an extra dish and receiver, but I have never tried to aim it myself, are there any special tools needed other than a compass and level?

Brian I never had a problem even without a compass and level. just look at the direction others had theirs and had the wife watch for signal. But, yes it is better to have the compass, level and zip code in case no one else has a dish out. Cheap side of me showing

Hi as Chelse says it fairly easy, the sat finder meters do make it even simpler, you can get them off E-bay for about $10/$15.00 now days, I like Chelse only used a level and a compass for the first 4/5 years and had no problems getting it set up. :)  :bleh: ;) :approve:
