I need to seal the roof on my RV. It is an 89 Pace Arrow Fleetwood. It looks like the roof is made out of shingles but it is not. Same type of surface finish, but it almost looks like there are fiberglass strands in it.
The factory sealer is white and still soft in most areas. Someone has sealed the roof over that in many places with a black sealer I don’t know what it is. What should I use to seal this? I saw some roofing sealers at Lowes and Home Depot are these ok to use.

Sounds like someone has used cool seal Bob. Don't know would have to see what has been put on there.

The Sealers at Home Depot and Lowes work fine but take 48 to 72 hours to dry (can't get wet).
Get the Kool Seal it takes 4 to 6 hours (that's what I used)
