Seattle to Banff

Next June/July we are taking our 36 ft 5th wheeler to Banff and Jasper, over the Cascades from Seattle. Does anyone have any experience on these roads?

Highway from Radium to Highway 1 junction is rough with lots of frost heaving. a pretty drive though

Best to go thru Fernie and Crownest Pass, then up Hwy 22 (the old cowboy trail) to Calgary

or thru Fort Macleod (National Historic Park) and the buffalo jump

If in Calgary the first two weeks of July take in the Stampede.

Calgary to Banff is 4 lane divided

Yes. Are you planning to go North thru 100 Mile House or turning east when you pass the Peace Arch?
