Hi e1 new here reg today ...im wondering going to see the shuttle launch Feb 7th, 2009 ....any good places to view it from? camp sites, that would be best n most affordable, to go to?

It can be seen from most anywhere along the coast there. Manatee is south and offers a good view. We camped at Manatee but drove back up tp the city park, can't remember the name, wich is across the bay, river from the cape. be prepared to stay as they very seldom go on time. Well worth the trip. Welcome to the forum

You can't miss it from most places. I saw it take off in 1991 from Orlando on the interstate. There was no mistaking what it was for sure. Quite a sight I will never forget.
