slow takeoff after sitting

    Hello, I signed on just to see how many questions were asked and saw the question of after sitting for a while, the transmission is slow to take off.This is not normal! The first thing I would check is your oil level. If it is low, as it warms up, it expands and then would let your vehicle move. If the oil level is set ok, you may have an issue with a main pressure regulator pin in the valve body that wears, even sometimes breaks. This allows the valve to release main pressure. I usually see this in pre 1999 vehicles.
