Does anyone know of a site where you can plug in your starting and ending points and it will tell you where campgrounds or rv parks are located along the route. Kind of like mapquest with the rv parks shown along the way? I am planning to go to Las Vegas next year in June so I thought I would get started planning early. I definitely am going to try to go to Terribles RV park and Casino, I checked it out it looks really nice. But other than that I don't even know where to begin planning. I did mapquest and it is a long trip. Would probably have to take two or three days to get there. Any suggestions? :question:

Carol, don't push it. There is a lot to see and do between El Campo and LV. Have you been to Palo Duro or the Grand Canyon. If you're using the RV just to get to LV, fly. My goodness, John may get a free steak dinner in Amarillo like darlings husband did.

Join Good Sam Club . There is a trip router there that does what you want.
Do you have any idea what route you want to take? There's a "high" route and a "low" route.
I find that Google's Map feature has a way to draw your routes, so they are easier to see.
Here's how I do mine.

Thanks all of you! I will look into the Good Sam Club. Thanks Tex, that is exactly what I was lookng for. Jim I am very new to this so I reallly don't have an idea on timelines yet. Also we will only have a week so we will have to make the best of every day.

Well Tex I couldn't even offer you the pecan pie because, just ask John, I don't bake! I made one cake for him 24 years ago and he told me it didn't look like his mothers. So you guessed it no more baking for me!!! Of course his mother made cakes for a living so of course it was not going to look like hers. I might PM you if I get stuck though trying to plan my route. I have really just begun. I haven't even scratched the surface yet. With only a week, maybe 9 days, it will be kind of hard.
