Space Shuttle Launch

Hello, Friends!

Ok, so my wife and I are already planning our July family trip to Florida to witness the second-to-last launch for the space shuttle program. It will be the last mission for space shuttle Endeavor, and our first experience with seeing anything of this magnitude. We have four little ones; ages nine to three; who LOVE RVing and travel extremely well.

I have alot of questions about finding the right spot to be to witness the launch (up close-ish), places to camp, lower-budget things to do in the area.... Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks so much! I LOVE this sight!

Re: Space Shuttle Launch

You can probably get in Manatee co park in July if you make reservations now. You can view the launch from there but much better views up the coast. Better plan on extra time as seldom do they go on schedule. Go early and scout out where you want to watch. Locals will tell you where to go. Plenty of places along the coast and it's an awsome sight.
