Ok,being no one is posting let me try this.I have a pusher with a electric entry step.When I open it all is fine,but when I close it it keeps acting like it comes out a little and then back in for about 4 times.Is this from setting idle for to long of a time.If I open and close the door 4-6 times it starts to act right.Tried using lubricant but didin help.Any sugestions?

There is a magnetic switch that tells the door and the step it is shut, that could be the issue and you have covered the lube.

Len you are correct about the magnetic switch,mine is located lower right side of screen door.Did clean it but didn't help.Think it might be the black box under the steps,no way to test it as it is sealed.
